Our intensive driving courses are ideal for those who need to get their driving licence faster, maybe its a new job that you need to drive for, or possibly moving house to a location where a car would be easier than public transport.  Whatever your reason we are here to help.

Our intensive courses are normally carried out over the space of 1-2 weeks.  To ensure we can get your test as close to the lessons as possible its essential that you have already completed your theory test.

**Please note:  Intensive courses are not for everyone. Due to the amount of time spent in the car and the pace of learning , those with learning difficulties or who struggle to maintain concentration for long periods would be better suited to the weekly lessons.  To confirm an intensive course booking we require a 25% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking, the remainder must be paid within 24hrs of the lessons starting.

Due to the current backlogs for tests we do not book driving tests for our pupils.  please ensure you have a test booked before starting your training with us, the date of the test isnt that important as you can use a cancellation app to bring this forward once the training is complete.

PLEASE NOTE:  Midlothian Driver Training do not offer a guaranteed pass (no  driving school can), the durations offered are what's required on average but every pupil is different, some may require additional training to get to the standard required to drive independently in a safe and controlled way.  We will only present pupils to test who the instructor believes are capable of driving safely and to a standard required for the UK test.
