Midlothian Driver Training Ltd is a small independent driving school providing driving lessons in Midlothian. Our goal is to provide a safe, fun and relaxed environment while assisting our students as they learn to drive. Ensuring that once they pass the test they are well prepared and have the knowledge to go on to have a lifetime of safe driving.
Every lesson is tailored to the needs and goals of the student at the time, with each lesson building on the experience and knowledge gained during previous lessons. We believe this this more client-centred way of learning helps build confidence and allow our students to take more control of their learning.
You will learn from an instructor that is registered and approved by the DVSA (the people who write the actual test), ensuring you learn to the standards required to sit and pass it.
We currently offer a range of options for learning with us, these cover everything from our standard driving lessons to intensive driving courses.
Chris is a fantastic driving instructor. He was extremely patient throughout my lessons, and as someone who was starting to learn to drive at an older age, made the effort to make me feel both at ease while driving a car and comfortable when navigating on the road. His teaching was thorough and concise, and always delivered in methods and language that provides immediate application to your driving. I always felt that his commentary when driving was direct and straight to the point, which suited my learning style, and he never sought to condescend. What's more, Chris clearly makes an effort to treat you as an individual rather than just a student, and his humour always put me at ease during difficult lessons. Looking at the statistics for people who begin driving at my age, I found that I required fewer hours than the average, and I believe that this was entirely due to Chris's teaching method. I would strongly recommend him as a driving instructor!
I highly recommend Midlothian Driving Training , I recently had the pleasure of learning from Chris , he was patient, knowledgeable, and provided clear and concise instructions throughout all of my lessons. His calm and friendly demeanor instantly put me at ease behind the wheel, making the learning experience enjoyable. He took the time to address any concerns or questions I had, allowing me to gain confidence in my driving skills. With his guidance, I was able to pass my driving test today with only two minors .
